Tuesday we welcomed the Chair of Lewes District Council - Councillor Lesley Boniface. We had a wonderful chat about all the work we do and the many themes we have in common. I am so grateful for her support and am hoping that it will lead to an increased awareness of charity status and maybe some more donations too!!
"I'm totally in awe of Sharmila taking on this fantastic challenge, this has to be ultimate way to volunteer to support a charity. Whilst Citizens Advice Bureau is a national organisation helping residents with everything from general advice to help with completing benefits claims, the local Lewes District branch relies on it's own funding to pay for premises and equipment. Good luck with preparations Sharmila and for the onward adventure"
